Our goal here at Calvary is to be an example of a New Testament Church.

To be a model of a church Jesus desires we hold to certain values that spark and drive our vision and commitment to being this type of church.

— We hold to a high view of God. (Deut. 6:5)

It is absolutely essential that the church perceives itself as an institution for the glory of God.

— We hold to the authority of Scripture. (2 Tim. 3:14-17)

The Bible is our foundation from structure to discipleship from organization to preaching. We hold fast to the Bible in every ministry of Calvary.

— We adhere to sound doctrine. (1 Tim. 1:13)

False doctrine can ruin a church that does not have its guard up to protect itself from evil; Calvary strives to have a clear understanding of the principles in God’s Word to effectively and honestly pursue the correct teaching and preaching of the Word of God.

— We pursue personal holiness. (2 Cor. 7:1)

God desires holiness in His church and His church cannot be anymore holy than the members who represent it. We set the standard as members of Calvary Baptist Church and we do this through personal holiness. We strive to be Christ-like.
